My 2026 Ride for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation was one for the history books!
Blistering hot with headwinds on Saturday, monsoon rains on Sunday during the last 15km to the finish line.
But it’s the stories I’ll remember most from my 16th ride. Sharing mine with riders at opening ceremonies in Niagara, meeting riders at pit stops along the way who shared theirs. Cycling with Mary and Joe through rain so heavy I removed my glasses so I could see the road ahead of me. Mary’s reminder that we’re lucky to be able to ride and Joe’s perspective, “It’s easier than chemo,” both rang true. Crossing the finish line alongside drenched Heme Teamers was an inspiring moment of community and camaraderie, which will bring us back next year!
THANK YOU to the amazing donors who helped fuel my 2026 Ride. We contributed $15k towards a Heme Team total of $245k and an event total of $23.3 million to fund cancer research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre—a truly remarkable achievement! I couldn’t do this Ride without you. ❤️❤️❤️
