Photos of Margaret Lynch in October 1988 (five months post-transplant) and April 2024 (36 years post transplant) training for Canada's most successful cancer research cycling fundraiserMy favourite cycling fundraiser is back!  It’s time to train for the Ride to Conquer Cancer in support of life-saving research at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Today marks the 36-year anniversary of the experimental bone marrow transplant that cured my leukemia and saved my life. That’s why I’ll be back on my bike June 8-9 for my 14th Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer.

The Princess Margaret is Canada’s single largest cancer research centre. It’s the place where stem cells were discovered, T-cell receptors were cloned, and the first cancer stem cell was identified. With 850 active clinical trials at any given time, it’s no wonder PMH is ranked in the Top 5 of the world’s best cancer centres.

The Ride has raised $280 million since 2008. When you support my Ride, know that you’re supporting Canada’s most successful cancer research cycling fundraiser. You can learn more about why I ride here: https://supportthepmcf.ca/ui/Ride24/p/lynch2024.

As always, I’m grateful for your support ❤️
